Anvil Dispatch

An AI phone receptionist, sold by voice

The brief

Anvil Dispatch, a service of Anvil Technology Solutions, builds and runs a custom AI phone receptionist for Canadian local businesses — it answers around the clock, books appointments into the client's calendar, and texts the owner the details. The site is a single conversion surface for a done-for-you service: it has to explain an unfamiliar product to clinic, trades and salon owners, defuse the "will callers know it's a bot" objection, publish real pricing, and get the visitor onto a short setup call.

Why it stands out

The hard problem was proving a voice product in a medium that cannot speak, so the page argues with audio instead of adjectives. Visitors play scripted sample calls tabbed by industry with running transcripts, then paste their own website URL: the site reads that site server-side, assembles a starter agent profile, mints a realtime session and opens a WebRTC microphone call, so the prospect talks to an agent built from their own business — capped at sixty seconds and framed honestly as a taste of the real onboarding. Around that demo sits a numbered 01–06 narrative on a near-black canvas with a violet-to-coral accent, an aria-live transcript, reduced-motion handling, and pricing and Canadian compliance stated plainly instead of gated behind a form.

Inside the build

Product decisions that do real work.

  • Live in-browser call demo

Paste a website URL and the site reads it, builds an agent profile, and opens a real-time WebRTC voice call you can actually talk to.

  • Sample call player

Dental, home-services and salon calls in a tabbed player with full running transcripts, each conversational turn synthesised to voice.

  • Pricing published in full

Three CAD tiers with onboarding fee and included minutes published for the lower two, custom onboarding for the top tier, and a stated per-minute overage.

  • Objection-led FAQ

Expandable answers on AI disclosure, keeping your existing number, time to launch and month-to-month terms.

  • Compliance stated on the page

Recording disclosure, inbound-only design and Canadian privacy and telecom positioning, written out rather than buried.

  • Accessible by construction

An aria-live transcript during the demo call and a reduced-motion path through the animated narrative.
